...has always traditionally been the number one financial safe-haven.  In these uncertain financial times, shouldn't you own some?   Join us today.

Our system is simple:

1. You join and complete step #2 (registration). A six-month Membership is only $10.00.  This will also help us to assure we have serious members with valid PayPal accounts.

2. When we have verified your Membership payment, you will then receive another email to you with your account number.

3. Next, you fund your account.  The amount you pay is up to you.  We will credit your account with the amount we receive from PayPal and use it to purchase shares from our available share pool. (The cost of each share and the number of shares available are shown on the first page http://www.mccwebs.com/gold.htm.  The price for each share is recalculated daily after the close in New York.

4. All money you send is used to buy shares.  Partial shares can be purchased.  For example, if the share price is $5.00 and we receive $7.50 from PayPal, you would receive 1.5 shares.

5. The gold is physically stored in the Gold Group's bank safety deposit box.

6. The number of shares you have is used to determine the value of your gold (#shares x current daily price).

7. You may sell your shares any day.  The value is determined by the share value for that day which is calculated at the close of the market day in New York for the day you sell. The actual value is determined by the price of one baht of gold in Thailand.  US$ Value of shares is affected by the price in baht of the gold, and the current exchange rate.

8. There is no minimum amount and no maximum amount you may send to the Gold Group.

7. Accounts are updated daily and you can see the daily value of your shares.

9. All transactions are done manually. So please give us time to process transactions. You correspond directly to your account manager for all transactions.

10. We guess this would be called the **disclaimer**: The Gold Group cannot guarantee that you will make a profit.  We can guarantee that purchases and sales will be made using the actual price given to us at the time of purchase or sale. Market forces will determine those prices, not the Gold Group.  Finally, any and all taxes which you may be liable for in your own country are your responsibility.  As a Gold Group member you agree to abide by the guidelines written above.

We are located in Bangkok, Thailand.  The basic unit of money here is the Thai Baht. Gold is also measured in a weight unit called the baht.  People buy and sell a baht of gold just as an ounce of gold is the unit in the United States.  A baht is equal to 15.11 grams.

Some Other Things To Think About:

23 and 24 carat gold, pure gold, is something everyone wants to own these days, but what are you really buying when you purchase gold? The most popular gold jewelry today in the American market is 14kt gold, but what most people do not seem to understand is 14kt gold is really only about 50% pure gold by weight.

Why own anything that is only 50% real?  It is because of marketing to the public and the cost of real gold. Retail jewelers will tell you 14kt gold is a great investment, but it is not because of the low gold content. Outside of the United States high carat pure gold is the norm in most markets.  Jewelry made from  high carat gold is very strong and designed to be worn and enjoyed.  Don't believe what some say about 23 kt gold.  It is not too soft to be used for fine jewelry; in fact it makes for much better jewelry than the lower carat gold.  Real gold has a much more yellow color than 14 or 18 kt  gold, and it is a great investment.

Real Thai Baht Gold

THAI BAHT GOLD  is known and recognized worldwide as being 96.5% pure gold by product weight (23K) making it among the highest gold content jewelry made anywhere in the world today. The remaining 3.5% consists of silver and bronze. The picture on the left shows what we buy for the Gold Group.

Thai Baht gold jewelry was commonly used as a currency and is still used by many instead of a bank savings account.  Baht gold is easy to keep, and can be used in trade and commerce, or converted back into any currency at anytime.  Thai gold jewelry, Baht Gold, is a convenient and smart way to invest in gold objects of beauty that can be worn and enjoyed.

The gold found in the United States and other Western countries is 14KT, and only 50% gold, or 18KT, less than 75% real gold. This is your chance to own real Thai Baht gold (96.5% pure) as part of the Gold Group.

Why Do We Buy Gold From Thailand? We are located in Thailand.  Gold prices on the world market on January 4, 2009 was over $800 dollars per oz. and the experts are forecasting even higher prices in the future.

Price of Gold

Why is Thai Baht Gold jewelry and bulk gold a great way to invest in this market?  The answer is simple and has a lot to do with what you are buying and what you are paying for.

In the USA and most western countries jewelry is made up of 14kt and 18kt gold. When you purchase 14kt gold the real gold amount is less than 50% of the total weight vs. Baht Gold with a gold content of 96.5% of the total weight. Thai Baht gold jewelry is almost pure gold at 23kts. So as the price of the metal itself goes up, so does the baht gold jewelry.

Another major factor is what are you paying for? In the US Jewelry Market the value of the gold makes up only 25% of the total selling price of a jewelry item.  With this low amount of gold you can see it would be very hard to call American jewelry gold an investment. 75% of the selling price is workmanship and profit. For every $100 you spend on US gold less than $25 is for the metal itself.

Thai Baht Gold on the other hand is almost pure gold like bar gold, but unlike bar gold you can wear and enjoy it will having a great investment.  Workmanship and profit is very low so you are paying the same money to get much more gold.  When the price of gold goes up the price of baht gold moves up with it.  The greatest part of this market is that the sellers will both sell and buy their jewelry for around a $20.00 profit on repurchase.  Think about it: even if the gold price stays the same, the place you bought the gold will buy it back for almost the same price you purchased it!  A more direct example: Gold was being purchase at 13,850 on Saturday January 3, 2009, at the local gold shop.  They were selling for 14,050 (14,400 with store mark-up).  So, if we had bought the gold at 10,ooo we would have made 3,800 baht or just a little less than $100 profit.  Try doing that with your typical American or European jewelry store and you will find out quickly how valuable that jewelry really is.  Sort of like the old truism we know about the new car you just purchased, and how you lose 20% just by driving it out of the showroom.

We hope we don't even need to talk about the real value of plated gold.

Gold is an investment.  It can go up and down.  If you want to do quick hourly buys and sells and have enough money for that, there are other sites for you.  We buy the actual gold and hold it physically.  We do not double-bet by using margins and having to kick in more money when the price falls.  We can just wait until the price goes back up.  Will it go up?  We think so.  If you believe the worst is over when all the experts are predicting even worse for economies in 2009 and into 2010; if you believe the prices of everyday essentials are going to go down and inflation is not in our future; if you believe gold is not going to grow in value, then by all means find other places to safeguard your future.  However, if you think owning a little gold is a good idea join us today.  Think of it as a short term protection or a long term investment. (Remember, it hasn't been too long ago that gold was $35.00 an ounce, now over $800! January 4, 2009).  The Gold Price is now:  Price of Gold
